There are many different tunes to fit the mood. Three of my favorite boss fights ever happen in this game. The boss fights are enjoyable and exciting, and the more important boss fights are just plain epic. You'll encounter ghouls and goblins, robots and mutants, dinosaurs and knights and many more. CT runs utilizes a modified version of the ATB. If you're familiar with the Final Fantasy series, Chrono Trigger will feel very familiar to you. There are no random encounters, and the battle system is deep, but easy to get into. Chrono Trigger has some action too, to add some excitement to your adventurous mind. Throw in some hidden items, secrets, and treasures for motivation, and you've got an amazing exploration experience. You may explore the Dark Ages, the Future and Prehistoric eras, with a few other eras in between. There are caves, forests and castles to be explored in the different time eras of Chrono Trigger. I love how Chrono Trigger has a focus on exploration. Chrono Trigger has aged well, and holds up even to today's best titles. And they were very much correct well, to me at least.
